Medical Coding Mama specializes in the healthcare industry.
Medical Coding Mama has been in business for over 6 years.
We look to make sure you're insurance is paying the amount it should, we look at if things are being coded right before heading to the insurance, we give classes to college students to prepare them for being on their own at college and what to expect for getting medical care and dealing with insurance. we also give classes to young families on how to navigate the insurance stuff for doctors.
We have fun teaching all things medical. We teach families how to let their children make their own medical decisions as they get older, so they know what to do when it comes to leaving home for college. We teach tricks and tweaks to help prevent medical identity theft. One of our most popular classes is teaching people with tattoos how to outsmart identity thieves and keeping their medical identity safe. Another one of our popular classes is making a master list for using at the doctors for all your information to be scanned into the doctor's system.
I am a very firm believer of that knowing all the options you have to choose from, along with the pros and cons of each choice help you make better decisions for yourself and your family. Without knowing what options you have, it like trying to navigate in the dark without much guidance or a flashlight! Making informed decisions is the best way to make decisions medically for yourself and your loved ones.
That's entirely up to you! I provide the information, tips, stories or caution stories on what not to do, it's up to you on how you'll use it to help yourself, and your family or your community at large.
I've been a nationally certified coder for many years now.
I'm a medical coder who loves what I do for a living. I love to educate the public on what's happening in the medical field. It's ever changing and it's fun to keep up with all the many changes and innovations coming down the pipeline.
I'm also a single parent with insights to the joys, and tears of navigating the doctors offices as a single parent.
